Misty - Pokemon

This has quickly become one of my favorite cosplays of all time yet it is so simple compared to some of my other work.
It's partially all the amazing props I got to build especially the 3 1/2 foot, floating, (with drainage system so it can be submergable), Staryu I made it's so cute >V<!!


This shoot was actually REALLY hard. Not only did I have to travel almost 3 hours to location, but my location was at a Principals convention for the state. SO  the crowd at the pool while I was shooting certainly had some odd stares to toss in my general giant armored starfish direction xD not to mention some questions. It's hard to stay focused as a model, assistant, spokes woman AND as your own photographer on a normal day but when you've got a whole crowd wondering what your doing jumping in and out of a pool and running back and forth over and over to check and test your lighting, and amuse them with light hearted banter while explaining your craft, it becomes an Olympic sport, I half expected to look up and see score cards by the end of the day xD. 
Normally a shoot takes me, myself and I, about an hour max from dress up to dress down of getting into costume,shooting then changing. The shoot time alone for this series was over a span of 4 hours.
